Where do you spend time on tedious work? What do you have to do repeatedly but not exactly the same way, say in a way that could be scripted?
The probabilistic nature of it makes it predictably good at some knowledge work: summarizing, drafting, classifying, extracting, and generating options.
That also makes it unpredictable at correctly answering small context specifics of, say what to do with a common symbol like @ in your business name when applying for an EIN with the IRS.
Assessing “AI maturity” is useful eventually, but delays action. We learn more by using it.
